Creating themes for Mac

Hi all,

I grabbed my registration code for Uplink_mac yesterday, and have been devouring the game. I've been through the tutorial and have read all the help on the Uplink Internal Services system.

Where can I find detailed instructions on creating themes and add-ons for Uplink generally?

Anyway, I suggest you check (url="http://"http://www.modlink.net")www.modlink.net(/url). That is a repository for themes and such for Uplink, and I've heard they have a guide there on how to make your own themes.

Now, I would LOVE to see a Nova theme for Uplink, so get cracking!

I had this great idea for an app that gives you an easy interface to change colors and such, and then has a little preview... But that prolly won't happen :frown:

That should be a fairly easy thing to do, as all you would need to do would be edit a text file, but the preview could be a little tricky.

The rest of that confused me (they work great on my computer), but the reason the price is reduced is because of the way Uplink rents out servers. You trade in your old gateways, just as you trade in your old ships in EV when you buy a new one.
