First time trying this game and it won't run in OS X. Window comes up saying I need 10.1 or better! So this won't work! Next I set the app to run in Classic from the info window but the game starts then stops! It never fires up to run at all. I have an iMac power pc G3 640Meg 533MHz which should be sufficient, however... I'm not sure about the Carbon Lib, OpenGL (is it built into iMac) and Draw Sprocket. I would like to think I have most if not all of this but I'm not sure where to check, although I did do a search (in OS X although it won't work in my version) but didn't find any of this. I'll check OS 9 later but thought a quicker response here may help. Any ideas to get me straightened out (or more crooked depending on how I deal with the results!)??

Yikes... what version of Mac OS X are you running? What version of Mac OS 9?

Mac OS X 10.0.4 & OS 9.1.1 Classic, this is what came with the machine! Apparently no other basic upgrades available unless you throw money at it for Jag!
Also a correction is that its a 500MHz, not a 533 MHz
I believe saw in the general info page that any OS X or OS 9 should work but I found it won't when I ran OS X and it called for 10.1. In OS 9 it starts then stops (closes), I never see a page, just a brief icon in the corner and then its gone!

Uhh, aren't all updates up to 10.1.5 free from any previous version of OS X?

Yes, but not everyone likes to download large files.

Not 100% sure, but I don't think the update is any bigger than, say, Uplink, so it shouldn't be a problem in this case...

The combo updater for X.2.4-X.2.6 would be rather large. Either way, !%@§#!=! &*?ś˘Ł?!, you should invest some time in downloading the newest version of OS X. You're system is probably serious obsolete, and that would explain why this awesome game isn't working for you.
I checked with Apple and there is NO upgrade (not available) to 10.1 from 10.0.4 ! If I could get 10.1 then I could go to 10.1.5 or better! Its not available and seems I am forced to purchase a new OS to do just about anything else that may require new programs, games, utilities, etc.... Kinda stinks and makes me wonder if I should put my money into better or more productive things. If anyone has a better idea on how to approach this or a 10.1 disk I could utilize, it would be appreciated!
Plus are there going to be any other additional upgrade/purchases that are needed for this project.
