Try this. Mozilla has a built in IRC client. Download it, open chatzilla, and type /attach irc.ambrosia.net then type /list then type /join #uplink See ya there.

Um... I just checked zambezi and you are not perm-banned. Anyway. All that andrew is doing is letting people know what he has completed and keeping people up to date with that. Little things, such as the new background on the web board. The topic on #uplink is "Uplink will be released in the next 24 hours. We suggest hanging about here for the latest info :)" set by moki (andrew). So get to #uplink to keep up to date with the latest happenings and to have the first notification when it is released.
