(pointless) Speculation on release date :)

I know, I know, Ambrosia doesn't release a game until it's ready (and yes that is a good thing )
We don't get a game that is always crashing and already has a patch before it's released.

But hey, it's the weekend and I'd like to hear some opinions, about when we start all playing 24/7 and NO I haven't gotten that bad (yet).

Do you guys think that will get a simultaneous release on Monday? I have my doubts.. The progress log still is in beta and there has been no update since April 17th. They also just might be having too much fun.

As a side question: IF Ambrosia doesn't release on Monday, can you guys even wait or will you jump to the Introversion package?

I for my part will wait for Ambrosia (I have to say that since we’re on their board and the mods would probably ban me for life if I was an advocate for the Introversion package ). They have always been a mac shareware company (both concepts which I enjoy a lot!) even though they're being lured to the dark side (EVN Win, good luck BTW on that!). So I'll wait and support the shareware mac community and I think/hope that by next week will at least get a progress log update..

Also worth mentioning would be if you ordered from Introversion. Let's say the 26th, they shipped immediately and you got it the 30th (I know FAST shipping) BUT the Ambrosia version came out the 27th and you could have been gaming immediately....

So everybody lets hang in there, the wait is (hopefully) almost over.

Oh, and I wouldn't trust the progress log if I were you. It was last updated 4-17-2003, and it's not as if it's been kept up-to-date very well in the past ;). It probably won't be much longer guys and gals, so just be patient for a bit longer.
