If any, what changes will there be in the conversion from Uplink: Windows to Uplink: Mac?

Yes it should be a straight port. I think they will make small changes , like changing the windows icon in the screenshot below to a mac icon, etc...

There will be no scenario or gameplay changes. Just a straight up port, with changes like Entarus mentioned above, as well as Ambrosia registration and cut-offs for before registration added in.

Andrew (is the correct term moki?) has posted a shot of Uplink running in a window, so that should be there in the final version.

I would also imagine some of the spelling mistakes in the original game would be corrected.

Those mistakes were corrected with later versions for pc, and those patches have been integrated, so those mistakes should be fixed... Funny that they misspelled verify...

I agree. This is for discussion of uplink, not discussion of Macs vs PCs or PC bashing so let's just not even start it.
What kind of computers are in it? Are there still PCs, or have they changed to Macs in the port?

There really is no platform-obvious stuff in the game, except perhaps the nix-style commands used in the console on some servers.
The entire Ambrosia staff should add themselves to the college list thing.

I believe there are ways to patch the game so that new names are brought into the game. If they don't get added, you can add them yourself!

Unfortunately, I don't think you can do that in Uplink.
