I'm not 100% sure, but I think he might have meant that Uplink will be out before March is out, which means before the end of March. But if I'm wrong, all the better

However, it could also be taken as out, as in "the animal was let out of its cage", which would imply Uplink will be released before March starts.

You have no idea what goes on behind the scenes here. The Windows port was supposed to be done in 3-4 months, contractually speaking. That these deadlines were not met is not our fault.
At a risk of pointing out the obvious, snide remarks like yours are exactly why we don't give out release dates. It isn't worth the puerile "But you said..." comments.

hmm, just to comment on this I generally have no desire for release dates. All I care about is knowing the status (alpha, beta, etc) of the project and I'm happy. The Upcoming page is my friend!

I am sorry, I thought that by being out before March that it would be done by the beginning of March. I am also sorry about the whole EV:N release date promise thing, it just really cut me up at the time and I also thought you didn't give out release dates so I was surprised. And if you were wondering, yes, I do always write and talk this disjointedly (and use words I don't know).

The PC version of Uplink includes a Linux version free of charge. Question: Will the Mac version include a linux version free or reduced price? And if so, can I prepay for the Mac version and get the liunux version now?
