I'm trying out Cheetah 3D, and it should be ablr to access all of the models that come in the extras folder, since they are DXF. But whenever I try to import one of them, all of the model files are dimmed except plat.dxf. Likewise, I cannot ctrl-click a model file, --> open with --> Cheetah 3D, because it's dimmed out, too. Any ideas? Yeah, I should probably go to Just Tech with this, but I decided to come here first anyway.
By the way, is there anywhere I can get the Plastic Thought HECTOR model from the splash screen? Just for fun, I mean.

Easy. Follow these directions. Go to other, then: Deselect the recommended applications, then select the 3D program.

I tried that already and when I selected Cheetah3D, the files just wouldn't open. Also, when i opened the platform file, a winow opened but the object was nowhere in sight.

Anything about the Plastic Thought HECTOR? I went to their website and they don't seem to have anything they did before 1997.
