Damn, I can't believe you guys are still here. What a blast from the past! I see that Ambrosia hasn't released any new versions since I left. I don't think my old mac will ever run again. Anyone think about porting this great old game to PC?

I would suggest getting a new mac if your old one won't work. And no, I don't think Avara should be ported to PC.

Hey frogger,
Its fairly safe to say that Avara won't be ported anywhere any time soon, if someone wants to make a new game with the same gameplay features that made Avara so much fine, more power to them, I'll but it for one.
Nice to see you around Frogger.

What's up Froggy, I too have been away from Avara forever and I have no idea what made me come and look at the page. Your post sure brings back some memories of some great times. Ah, the days of wasting the day away in college playing Avara. I agree a port to the PC would be nice, but I would never be able to play as much as I used to, too many other responsibilities. I didn't want to grow up! Anyway, it was good to hear from you

Heya Red! We all should get together sometime. You want a real blast from the past, check out DV's post from a while back. I'm a little pissed I wasn't mentioned, though. Your right that was a great post, thanks for pointing it out. I agree it would be cool to get the old group back together for some old time trash talking. BTW, don't be pissed you were mentioned toward the bottom of the post

p.s. of course, it would help if the tracker were working. : )
I have spoken to Andrew and it will be back up soon. Apparently Janus was rebooted recently and the tracker failled to come back up when Janus came up. Matt has been informed.
