Ive been expirementing with levels,and bsp shape design lately, and Ive just made a level including 3 UFOs and a freeSolid of a bsp I made with meshwork. When I load the level and try to play, it beeps me and says "no HECTOR avalible". I wish it would be a little more specific in telling me whats wrong, or at least an error code, which i could look up. Can anyone tell me what this means? Maybe i made the freeSolid wrong. All II put was object freeSolid shape=Andy end I dont know how to make objects with shapes, so I thought I would try doing the shape command.

I'm not exactly an expert at making Avara Levels, but it could be that you forgot to include an incarnator. Take a look at the "Getting Started" picts to see an example of this. For a level to work at all, it needs either a Hector object or an incarnator object. I'm still not sure what conditions you would use which in.
Also, to use custom BSP's, you must either use the actual ID# of the BSP with the shape= line or define the name to mean the ID# of the BSP.
That last part was probably about as clear as mud, so I'll just refer you to the Level Design Manual. I don't have it handy right now, so I can't refer you to a specific section, but it wouldn't hurt to just read through it a few dozen times.

Actually, on Aftershock, you CAN edit and make new HECTORs! My brother did that. He changed all the HECTORs to new ones. One that he made, called the Terminator, had guns that could kill you in one shot and that fired super fast! And not only that, but Sniper HECTORs couldn't kill it in one shot either! It ruled!
