is there an EASY way to create an avara level? i remember reading something a while ago.. but i don't remember much.. just that it sounded really hard. i'm interested in trying to make a level - not that anyone will care.

Having tried to make a few levels, and helped to shape many other levels, I'd have to agree it is not easy, but not impossible. Some people consider it a challenge to figure out, while others find it second nature.
I compare it to creating artistic designs using actual PostScript code, which if you've ever seen that you know how arcane that is.

wow, this place is kinda slow... anyway, i came here out of boredom, just to see what was goin on, and saw J.Ace. hey Ace! ok, awhile back, i tried learning how to make levels, but gave up in like, 15 mins... i guess it just takes a certain type of person.

that's what happened with me. i'm just trying again....
There are a few guides that will eplain things a little easyer to you than the included manul does, but once oyu want to get into the harder stuff, you should really read the manual... You can also visit ald.avara.org ald stands for Avara Level Design, besicaly anyhitng you would want to know, and if you are stuck, there are a bunch of level designers on ALD's forums, and there is a seciton where level designers can put up the e-mail address for all to see. You need help, just go there
