I Think of it as only the interface under construction. I used interface Builder, an app that comes on the Dev. Tools in Mac OS X. I just know how to use that, not Project Buillder. So, that nice pretty interface you see doesn't do anything except look pretty.
No, this isn't torture compared to what Aschaff_86 did. He said he was working ona conversation editor, complete with testing capabilities. He made some nifty pics in RealBasic, then told us he'd have it done in 2 weeks. Did he? Nope. He never did. Now that was torture.
