You need a magleague account to join, but if you don't have one you can get one easily enough.
Note to Netscape 4, 3, 2, 1 users, users of Internet Explorer below v5: magleague is not fully compatible with your browser. Netscape users will not be able to view the registration page. If you are using NN4.x and want to sign up, either get a decent webbrowser or email me at (redacted) with your desired password.
Tournament begins on 11/15, rounds last for ~week. Standard magleague rules:

I signed up a few days ago, even installed Mozilla and IE 5.1 to facilitate MAG... Still use NS 4.5 though!

Why not install iCab for yourself and leave NN4 for your dad? surely you have room on the hard drive for two webbrowsers?
I have several web browsers installed, including iCab, Hot Java, a couple of IEs and a couple of NSs, plus a few more in virtual PC. I don't like iCab, so don't use it. NS 4.5 is still my prefered browser of choice, though I like the sharpness of Hot Java, sadly no longer being developed.
