I've been playing EV and EVO on a Basilisk II emulated PC with no problem. I downloaded Ares and tried to install it, but all I get is a "can't install on a network server volume" message. My computer is not hooked up to anything remotely resembling a network and is not, nor has it ever been a server. What's going on here? Does anyone know how I can correct this?

hmm...not sure what your problem is. I think Firebird is running Ares under Basilisk, maybe he'll show up and help you out. If not, you could always just find some old Mac Quadra/Centris for $10 at a garage sale and play Ares on that, heh.

I know.
Okay, it's installed and working fine! I IM'ed Firebird earlier and he gave me a clue as to what to do. He said to put it in a folder in one of the drives. I found out the main problem was in trying to install the full package all at once. I went for the custom install and installed each piece one-at-a-time. Now it runs just fine! Thanks, guys! And thanks to Firebird (wherever you are!)
Great! Glad you got it fixed.
