Now that I'm thinking clearly, anyone know what the problem is? It keeps saying something like "Cannot complete download, please try again later." Any ideas? Any extentions that need to be on/off? I use OS 8.1.

Perhaps GameRanger doesn't work with OS 8.1. My dad has 8.1 and he can't run it. Probaply because it requires Carbon 1.5 or later which doesn't work on OS 8.1. I don't remiber exactly what it says but usualy it won't even launch the program and a few times it may launch but won't connect to the Game Ranger server. If you look on there web site I remiber seeing that it only works for 8.6 or later. I do not know where it is on the website but I think I saw it before. I do not know of any plans for it to work on 8.1.

Would 1.0.4 work? That's supported by 8.1. Also, I can't seem to download from FTPs like ftp.apple or ftp.ambrosia. Any ideas about that? I'll try GR3
