Anyone know what the code to rename your planet in multiplay is? I've seen Jimmy do it before but he says he's renamed the cheats using ResEdit and doesn't remember what the original one was.
------------------ Originally stated by Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering: Naturally the common people don't want war...but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along....All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.
Yes. I've seen him do that. At the bottom of the screen, it said, "(Player's name) is about to name something." And then, his planet's name becomes "My House." How does Jimmy Page do that?

Heh, I've never played a game with Jimmy where he didn't name his planet "My House." Never did find out the code for that one.

Once ya do that, all you have to type is one number/character per code... / ---> rename planet 1----> instant build 2----> .25 increase 3 ---> .25 decrease 0----> invisable . ---> lottery , ---> enable the C's I like to use this against cheaters to show how futile cheating is to begin with, especially against me..
That's how ya do it.
I posted a step by step instruction about how to do this probably about 2 years ago.

Well, you could be a little more creative about it. The hex values of the cheat strings are actually 5 higher than the hex values of the codes, so it's not mind-bogglingly hard to invent your own strings. In order, the originals are ==gronk (Enable/disable cheating) ==gort (Give computer control) ==lotto (Megabucks) whazzit (Rename planet) ==drake (Lose hated flag) ==fsst (Instant build) ==1999 (Increase pay) ==1969 (Decrease pay)

bah, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 involves less thinking
You could configure it so that the cheats actually were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, if you really felt like it.
That was so trademarked'dly pallas.
