The newest ares clan to join the ares magleague is TNT. Co-led by Fyrephin and Lord, they have gained enough points to get to the #3 position, posing competition for #1-TAG, and #2- EL. The top TNT player has also risen to #7 place, with a sterling record. For all those of you who thought the ares magleague was dead, you will be watching your status on the ladder slowly fall if you don't start playing again....
For all of you who are new to ares and don't know what the "ares magleauge" is all about, let me breifly explain:
A few years ago, I created an ongoing ladder tourniment for all ares players to compete in. There is a clan ladder and an individual ladder included in this. You can visit it at (url="http://"http://www.magleague.com")www.magleague.com(/url). (when you get there for the first time, make sure you select ares ladder in the left hand bar, and sign up in the right hand bar, then click load page) Virtually every ares player has signed up and played on the ares ladder. Cool. But I can't seem to join. It says "The Nick you have chosen is already in use" for absolutely no reason. I would have been great on MaG if I joined. By the way, I have played Fyrephin and (AoEp) Lord, who both were quite mediocre, (not to hurt their feelings) and I won almost all the games.

6th place ay, OV? You sound really good. Well, do you think I could manage to play a game with a 31k connection? I don't know if it's going to get any better when I get my new computer, because our lines are very bad. I'd love to give it a shot, however it may end up waiting until I get my new computer, because this one just seems to have inherent networking problems.

Ok blood eagle, I'll delete it, but make sure you re-register with the correct email this time since your password gets emailed to your email address you enter in blood eagle.
FYI: TNT is now lead by fyrephin, however theres a bug thats not letting me enter that into magleague, so make a mental note i guess...
remember that all marshals = 10 points...
For some reason I am unable to view TNT's "clan list." Its hard to play one of their members if I can't access the list and I'm too lazy to hunt the top 100 for "TN" clans.
Maybe its related to your problem Jimmy.

I'm not that good, just been playing people not to good and the fact barely anyone plays now
Well I had to enter in their clan by hand so it existed. I belive magleague only allows a certain number of clans, and we have one to many. I might have to delete the last place clan to make room...

Ok, there apparently can only be 5 clans on magleague at a time.
As a result, I merged the Ares Prophets with TNT. TNT now has double the members. I didn't want to totally boot the ares prophets, so i thought this was better.
Ares prophets did not have many points, so they did not boost TNT's score too much.
stewcow, if you want to have your clan back, I got rid of the twelve so that there is room .
The twelve: If you want your clan back, just let me know, because if stewcow is happy the way things are, then I can add you back on. But you never won a game, so it wont hurt you if you got booted off the ladder temporarilly.
If anybody has any complaints, state them now.

Blood Eagle- try using a different webbrowser maybe? I was also able to log on successfully using your password and Mozilla.
I'd also like to mention that ways of getting magleague games include the magleague IRC server( #magleague on enterthegame.com ) MaGChat ( (url="http://"http://magleague.com/downloads/chat.html")http://magleague.com...loads/chat.html(/url) ) GameRanger ( Land of the Lost ) and the MaG hotline server at 64.44.101.80 ( Username: magger Password: magleague (Ask admins for account)) MaG also has their own board accesible to members at the main site.
As for "stating complaints" I'd just like to say that I still am interesting in seeing if we could get a better ladder scoring system. Preferably one like battle.net's system ( (url="http://"http://www.battle.net/ladder/ladderfaq.shtml")http://www.battle.ne...ladderfaq.shtml(/url) ) or at least setting the ladder so that you lose 5 points for every loss( I believe the ladder used to remove a point for each loss, so this should be possible with the current system ). This way we dont have a problem with poor players who have too much time on their hands just killing newbies right and left and rocketing past the top players as easily as they could now.
