Plug Ins (probably a dumb question)

And today's stupid question is...

drum roll

How exactly do I make plug ins work? I can't find a plug-ins folder like EV, so I'm lost... I can't find the answer in the FAQ... help?

Make sure you've got ares 1.2 and just drag the plug-in over the Ares application.

What version of ares do you have ?

If its the most recent just drag the plug on to the ares aplication and it will start up using the plugs data.

Yeah, the version 1.2. file is around 12 megs - not too bad to download (EVN = ? ; 181 megs uncompressed). It took me about 5 hours to do it on a 20k connection. It froze halfway the first time through (ugh).

I had to waist goverment money to get it 😛 it took me 8 hours with 56. 99% and it froze. STUPID NOVA DL.. Anyways it you have a version before Ares 1.2.0 I think you have to name the plugin something and put it somewhere. wrong person to ask realy

If you have a version before 1.2.0 then you have to call the plug Ares Scenarios and put it in the data folder thingy (puting the origanal Ares Scenarios some where else), the only problem with this way is that when you start up ares it says "cant read race data" but if you just say ok then the game continues normaly.
