Depends on your definition of odd. Abnormal? Strange Looking? Doesn't match with the rest of the ships of its race?
Audemedon Carrier(box shape) and the Canthran Carrier(unsophisticated appearance).
How about the Coolest looking ship in Ares? My bid goes for Canthrean Gateship.(if it didn't look so pixely)

Yeah, first time I saw that Gateship I was shocked. It's so huge.

Probably the Audemedon Gunship (always reminds me of a human brain with guns) or the Salrilian Transport (a pancake converted to military use).

When I first played the game I thought the Gaitori ships looked pretty weird. They really don't look much like what I thought a spaceship should look like. There are a lot of interesting looking ships in Ares.

Oddest ship would be Cantharan Transport. It looks like a PLUS SIGN, peoples. How much stranger can you get? Second place goes to Ishiman Astrominer and Gaitori Gunship

Strangest looking ships, the Eleejeetian ships are pretty weird. Flying boxes. No imagination whatsoever, though I would imagine that they are very efficient.
