I was teaching my friend MASCOT the other day and he needed to get the M.S.I.P patch because his monitor had an 800X600 resolution. He downloaded it, and it was really nead! The help in the dialogs was awesome. I downloaded it on my computer, and tried to install it. I got an error saying I didn't have enough hard disk space to install it! I have 5 gigs left. What's wrong? :frown:
Oh, I tried to e-mail ANdrew, but he never replied.

Oh that's too bad, the patch is 6.7 GB.
No, seriously, I don't know. I myself don't have that patch. Corruption in download perhaps??

Try downloading it and see if it works for you. I'll dry downloading it again. I have a feeling though it isn't corrupted.
This is a completely random question, but are you really tall? Why did you choose the name "Dr. Tall?" I bet you're not taller than my friend I mentioned in the previous post. He's 6' 3".
And no, Dr. tall, taller is not better.
Okay, done with the random questions. Now it is off to get this M.S.I.P patch fixed...

He is not really tall. He's normal. He picked Dr. Tall because how corny does Mr. Tall sound to you? That's what he said in his "Do NOT read me file".
**And no, Dr. tall, taller is not better.;)
Heh. Did you know that the tallest man ever was Robert Wadlow, who was eight feet, eleven inches!? In 1940, at the age of 22, Wadlow wore a size 37AA shoe and weighed 440 pounds!!!! He died around 22 too. :frown:

I suggest you get your friend to give you a copy of his. If you use drop stuff it is only about 350k.
Geroditus.

Well like Ice said, "Mr. Tall" sounds corney. I'm actually 6' 1", you can judge if you think that's tall.
And yes, right now we're learning in biology how taller is in fact, not better.

Yes, that's tall.
Anyway, back to the topic: Ice sent me a MASCOT with M.S.I.P , and it worked fine. Untill...I tried to open my level, and it said it didn't exist. I opened my level set in the original version of mascot, and my level opened fine! Weird.

Oops. Not you. Lizwiz, I think. All right, I'll try that email address.

If that fails try this.
1. make a new empty mascot level set. 2. open your levels in resEdit. 3. open new level in resEdit. 4. transfer the old levels to the new set.
That should work.

OK, I'll try that, lizwiz. Andrew replied, but he had no idea.
This is the ONLY post here so far today. that's pretty sad. :frown:
I've had problems with the patch too. I instlled it and my system folder got corrupted. I had to reinstall the whole system. On my other computers, I decided just to transfer the patched editor (it was on an Ethernet network, I don't know if the editor will fit on or floppy or anything).
