System requirements

I have a pretty old mac and I've been playing Ares... I was wondering what the system requirements are for networking because the read-me doesnt say. I could get really tired of bashing the motherboard real quick...

I'm pretty sure that you can run it on any computer - if you look at Scratching Post, it recommends a PPC, but that tends to suggest that you can run others on 68K.

My Performa 636 runs with Ares fine, if only a tad slow on crowded levels. That's a 68040 processor running OS 8.1.

Although I can't seem to get Hera to work though.

Hera is PPC(601, 603, 604, G3, G4) only, which explains why you can't run it on an '040
