In Malcolm's World I plan to add additional Sprites ... but it's not working properly! I've been given plenty of Sprites from CyberGran, but when I play they're all not appearing! (Dr Tall, I did place them in MASCOT.) Their ResEdit # IDs are so far 2970 to 2981 but none of them are showing! Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I did that and it drove me nearly mad. Then I realised that you have to put the new sprites in two places. 1. The Mascot editor graphics and 2. the Ferazel's Wand Sprites. and when you post your game you are going to have to post the FW Sprites file too or it will not work.

Also, if you don't give the spirtes appropriate black backing in MASCOT, they will not appear there either. However, they will be there just invisible.

Ack! Ack! ACK! That's not what I meant! Sorry I made you waste your time ... I see now that it was my fault! I have pasted them in the 'Ferazel Editor Graphics' with their MASK and into the 'Ferazel's Wand Sprites' file ... what I mean is that they're not showing in FERAZEL!!! They appear fine in the editor (except for two which I've given the wrong masks! :frown:) but don't appear at all in Ferazel! Please help!

I don't know but if you mail me the levels and sprite info I'll have a look if you like. (Just let me have the sprite nos. from the original file that CG sent you and where you put them in the sprite file)
Is there a problem with the sprites? I emailed you with the new ones did you get them? I also replied to your email. Perhaps you can get onto AIM when you come in from school tomorrow and we can clear this up. - There may be a problem with the email.

Ice I'm not really an artist - just designer I can change things slightly but I have to have something to work on. Malc is praising me to the skies but frankly I aint that good. All I did for him was change some colours and positions of the sprites already there.

Sorry about that - I did send you an email. I had a massive load of work to get finished. As it was I was working until 1.30 am. However it's done now and so are your sprites. I hope that will absolve me!
