You're right Debra, the OS9 version is sufficient to prepare and set-up an entire game... Though only a few human beings were lucky enough to get it... The rest of the world is now waiting for their games...
And by the way, if you need any stuff for your maps, just ask, as I'm also creating Outdoor and Indoor Maps with my Demo version... Quite the only thing I can do at the moment so...

Isn't it strange how there seem to be more people asking about coldstone now that it isn't available

Some people just need a reason to complain, others were saving, trying the demo or just heard of it. The same amount of people are still around, just the inavailability of the product prompts questions. There would be more people clamoring for CGE if a (no offence to anyone) nice, complete game were available created by a user (ie - not PoG)

It makes perfect sense to me. When it was available you just downloaded it and started to use it. The questions were "How do I . . . " which came along later. Now that you cannot do that, people want to know what they're missing.

I'm sure no offense will be taken. AFAIK the only real games to be released in any form of completed state have been PoG and the Showcase games. And i wouldn't call GoT anywhere near the level of completeness I wanted it to be. Then again if I hadn't spent half of the 90 day limit goofing off it probably would be better. Oh well

I spoke to Carm about this and she said she was not sure. One thing she did say was that if they were to update it then it wouldn't be her making it.
I went to the Beenox website (url="http://"http://www.beenox.com")www.beenox.com(/url), They put ColdStone in the "VINTAGE" section. Actual Wording on the page, "Browse through the list of games and software released in the old days of Beenox." Sounds like they have no plans for coldstone in the future.

Of course they don't, that's why ASW hired someone else to fix it. Didn't you read the thread?

I don't really see why Beenox don't let someone else have the CS source code to develop it. If they were to still get money from it then they probably wouldn't mind. If I knew RB and C++ I would try but I don't :frown: . I hope that either Ambrosia keep developing CS or they find someone to develop it.

Pilky, how do you think Carm could work on the bugs if she didn't have the source code?
