Hi guys
I was wondering if it is possible to save your game at a location of type "Main". I had tried in the past, and was unsuccessful. But I'm not sure if I was running 10.2 or if I did something wrong. Thanks.

It should work. What do you remember what happens if you did try to save location on a main location?

No file was ever made.
------------------- Today in the Coldstone Chat on AIM. I was told that if I had the "main" event link to a "main" location it would save just fine. The problem was that on my test run the game never started as far as the engine was concerned. I will have to render some images and try it out. Thanks a lot.
That would be the Jaguar bug I think. Make a text file with EXACTLY the same name as your planned save and then replace it. Everything should work normally in Classic.

Thanks for the info on how to bypass the save bug in Jag. I have changed my set up since then, so I build all my games in CS on an iMac using 9. But I do all the graphics on a G4 tower in Panther. So I won't be needing this regularly, but thanks for the info.
