I was reading about Coldstone and it looks like a very good program. Should I buy it? I might if you people tell me that it is easy to learn, and I can make cool games quickly, but if I can't, I might not.

Sorry, but I don't believe you can buy Coldstone yet. Ambrosia stopped selling it until the major bugs where fixed in it. It is easy to learn, and you can build cool games relatively quickly (depends on what kind of game you have in mind).

Yah you will definitely want to get ColdStone (CS for short). But wait until the update comes out and they start selling it. There were a number of bad Bugs in it. They are fixing them tough. At least they say they are.

You can't buy it right now, but you can try the demo. The demo works with classic (or OSs 8.6 to 9.2) but not with Panther.
It is easy to learn without needing to know coding.
When you say "cool games quickly" that depends on how original you want your game to be. Some graphics are included with the software but the best games will probably have a unique look which means doing a lot of artwork yourself (or have others do it for you.) A full-length RPG with original graphics may keep you busy for well over a year.
Conclusion: Try the demo, come back here to ask questions, and wait patiently for the upgrade to be available.

If you don't like programming then Coldstone is probably the best app available. It is fairly flexible but some types of games are either hard to do or impossible (at the moment). As everyone has said there are a LOT of bugs with CS at the moment but the update should fix that.
A big game will take you a long time to do. Your first game will probably take quite a while as you learn coldstone. I suggest that you follow the tutorial that you can download from the add-ons section. The manual is very poor for learning from. I just use it for occasional reference.
