I have been thinking a lot about what CS can do and I think that it could do a very good EV style game. Now I am sure there is one thing it can't do but I just can't think of it? Can anyone think?

It can't have the drift effect of when the player stops using their thrusters they keep moving. Coldstone can't do the 360 directional player animation.

Perhaps it can, in the first frame of every direction in the animator call an event wich changes the global "gb_playerdirection" to N, NW, E, S, anything. In the medieval game the player has one frame for "standing still", use that and in that frame - call an event wich checks wich direction the player is facing and then moves them one movement tile in that direction. There you have your "keep moving" engine thing

Guided weapons, other minor things like the ev starchart plotting. One thing, would this be a community effort or by you personally?

I wasn't planning on making it. I was just asking if it was possible
