I had a nice start up screen for a cool game I was making. It had a quit button that worked, music and a nice picture. I tested it and everything was fine. Then I went to making the Event for the "New Game" button and linked it to the button. When I tested it here is what happened: The "Loading game data" dialog appeared and the progress bar advanced. But when it was done it stopped for about 2 seconds then the screen flashed several times and displayed the "Your application has unexpectedly quit" message.
Now it always does this every time. I also tried taking out the event. Then I tried deleteing it. (is this the same thing?) No luck.
Later I was working on a old game I made a while ago. The same thing happend even though i had not even linked anything to the start of the game. !!!!!!!!!! Thank God for backups!!!!!!
I am running mac os X.2.6 and have CS V1.0.1

I have never had any such thing happen to me. Of course, I make mostly plugins and not games. Try deleting the main screen location and start over again.
EDIT: And welcome to the boards 11 year old game maker! You did the right thing by coming here.
