Just poked around the ferazel resource fork and found a dialog called memo with a latin phrase of some sort in it. Because I don't know latin I would like to ask anyone who does to translate. The phrase is:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit quid erat demonstrandum; e pluribus unum et habeas corpus. Illegitemum non carborundum, iste exte isye otallte eaninlesme.

Well, I am currently taking latin I...let me take a stab at it.
Rats! I don't have my latin book with me. I'll write the phrase down, and ask my teacher tomorrow. Let's see. "quid" means because, "demonstrandum" means demonstrate, I think...e plurubus unim is on our coins, it means out of many, one. (it is the US motto) , and habeus corpus is also a latin phrase. Illigitemum sounds like illigitamate ir illegal, "non" neans not, and the rest doen't even look like latin. Hold on, I'll post tomorrow and tell you what my latin teacher said.
Does the phrase appear in the game at all?

I have a sign hanging above my computer which reads, "Illegitimi non carborundum" It means, "Don't let the bastards get you down."

Another thought: Ben knows nothing but a few scrapes of latin which are mixed together in these sentences. Just a thought. e pluribus unum - on US coins habeas corpus - law term Illegitemum non carborundum - don't let the bastards get you down iste exte isye otallte eaninlesme - absolute gibberish?

Yeah, I think you're right. The phrases make absolutely no since together. As for the last part, I'm not sure if ut is total gibberish. "Iste" means "itself", I believe. As for the rest, it does look like gibberish.
The "lorum ipsum" phrase you see is, in fact, utter gibberish. It's a typesetter's tool that's been in use for a very long time. They pressed test pages with fonts to observe how well they would work for a document. I have seen this many times before...I bet you a buck that you will stumble upon this stuff again, word for word.

I believe that's some sort of pig latin for "This text is totally meaningless"

So in summation: Lorem ipsum dolor sit quid erat demonstrandum: typesetter gibberish e pluribus unum et habeas corpus: lawyer gibberish Illegitemum non carborundum: the only truth there, "Don't let the bastards get you down." iste exte isye otallte eaninlesme: more gibberish, pig latin for, "This text is totally meaningless."
Wow. I wish I was a creator of a cool game and could place hidden jokes through out it.
