Alright, I believe that enough people have offered enough good ideas about how to protect yourself.
Sign an NDA before you present any of your work to anyone else. This prevents them from stealing your ideas.
Copyright your work. Seal it in an envelope and mail it to yourself. Do not open it when you receive it and place it somewhere safe.
A minor can not do anything, legally. If you are under the age of 18 then yuo must have your parents or guardian involved.
If you ignore any of this then you do so at your own risk and only have yourself to blame.
Now, as this discussion has wandered off to become heated, it shall be closed down.
