Is that skull just floating above the fountain, or is there somthing holding it up(possibly seen in an animated sequence as the blood pours out).
That rocks.

I thought, it was attached to the back wall and projecting towards the center of the fountain.
Asylum, you are doing great work and cranking them out fast. What program are you using? Your images match the Coldstone art in size and look way more than most of what I found on websites.

I use Lightwave 3D 7.0 Then Photoshop for touchups, etc. The size is basically just experimentation and I've got the anti-aliasing issue solved so I can have antialiased detail within the boundaries of the image but still have non-antialiased edges. (It took me a while to figure that one out.)
The angle was tough to figure until I found a post here on the boards by someone who worked on the PoG graphics. It's 45 degrees. The images are also pretty saturated with light. I noticed that the PoG images have a sort of ambient lighting that illuminates the entire object. My objects have 6 light sources on them to simulate the ambience.
Other than that, I use some nice high-res texture images for most of the textures and then the occasional built-in surface effects of Lightwave (the bloody veins on the basin, for example).
I'm currently doing some work for Rubber Ducky for his Ice Cavern. They are turning out well. We'll see when he gets the final product up and running.
Thanks for the compliments and feedback. I'll keep making em as long as you all enjoy em.
