What is the game creater code for?
------------------ Thanks, GrahamVH graham@vhpublications.com Coldstone Developer
Every application on the Mac has a creator code. This is used to identify files with their applications. If a document will open by default in the application with the matching creator code. For example, Photoshop has a creator code of 8BIM. If a document is opened, the Finder will automatically check the creator code and match it with the appropriate app. If a file has 8BIM as a creator code, the Finder will automatically launch photoshop to use it.

by the way, you should always (url="http://"http://developer.apple.com/dev/cftype/")register(/url) your creator code with Apple to prevent a conflict.
