I posted something on this earlier. Here is the detailed version for CI-Ia0s. I have my Conjurer class set up so that every 3 levels you can earn one spell. I have in the skill table an event that when the level is reached it runs my Conjurer_levelup event. In this event is a fanfare effect. Then it opens a dialog box saying that you have gained x amount of experience and you can earn a new spell or two. Here is where it goes bad. It is supposed to run the spell selection dialog, but instead it crashes with the standard OS X error dialog 'The application"Fall of Abodon" has unexpectedly quit. The system and other applications have not been affected.' My effect is an aiff file.
