OK, I'm pretty much done - down to the manual - with Kit's ABC Adventure with the exception of the healing stones in the game... I've tried setting and adding both stamina and maxstamina and nothing - i tried giving the player an item then having a script using for him and nothing...
Basically he is meant to go from whatever his life (stamina) is to 100 again - help!
Stark... I know you're out there lurking (you're already thanked in the manual btw).

You create your healing stone and a spell called "Healspell" (or whatever). When the stone is used have it cast your spell by using the spell wizard. Make sure that the spell is targeting the caster (yourself) and set the damage to a negative number (-100 would do the trick). Voila (as the french say). Healing stone working perfectly. You even get the funky white numbers above your head

Ah, yes... Like a true idiot I never learn...
Here's why: After having my tiles not show up on a map I started banging my head against the keyboard for a few days until I realized that maybe the "/" in the name was screwing things up... guess what - it did!
So, here I am some time later and guess what - that's right another backslash - the name of the event was "magic/heal.cet" or something which was causing the event not to launch at all - so I changed this and guess what - it works with the attribute wizard event that I was trying in the beginning anyway!
The moral of the story - NO BACKSLASHES IN NAMES - EVER!!!
Thanks for the help anyway CI-Ia0s - I really appreciate it!
