the pC compiled version of my game works pretty well despite the fact that the videos don t play and there is no sounds nor music... i ve had a pbm of the main character not appearing but that was simply because the pictures of the animations were named in .pict... and 4 letters are too much for our PC users... after renaming the pictures in .pct the pbm was solved... I wonder if it s the same for the sounds... being .aiff instead of .aif... but that doesn t explain the music which is in .mp3... same for he video which is a .mov Anyone got an idea?

Look in the movies and sounds folders. I recall someone saying once that their windows builds weren't building in the sounds/movies and they had to manually drop these things into those folders.
So check to make sure your verious sound files and movie files are in those respective folders of your build. If they aren't then copy them into them. If they are then we'll need to look at something else...

Even if the files for music, videa and sound are in the folder, I suggest copying them in manually as the other files may be corrupted and/or incomplete. If this doesn't fix the probelm, then it will most likely be a problem with CS. Nothing you can do about that, except ask for a bug fix.

ok... i ll try that... however... just about the music... it s an mp3... it IS definitely in the good folder... but still doesn t play... and when I try to open it with winamp, it works allright... so I wonder... the file doesn t seem to be corrupted... for the video itself, it just occured to me that this is a .mov which is a mac (quicktime) format... so maybe a pc without quicktime can t play it... well I don t know...

From the Coldstone manual:
Windows requirements:
Pentium II 350Mhz or better Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP 64MB RAM DirectX 8 Quicktime 4
Quicktime is required. Install it on your windows box and see if your audio/video problems disappear. You can grab Quicktime 6.0.2 (url="http://"http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/")here(/url).
