I posted this on the engineering board some time ago, but was told I might get a better responce here. What do people think the chances are of an Ares spawn? That is just the multiplayer component of Ares that can be spawned onto other computers so that I can battle my friends and siblings. Having to buy several copies of one game to play on different computers in the one house is a big expense, that no one is keen to do. A spawn would certainly increase the life of Ares for me.
Maybe there could be some kind of secondary licence that only let's you play multiplayer games with games started by someone with the full version. Actually, that probably wouldn't work, because people would just use that to play multiplayer and never register.
What do other people think?
