I am having some difficulty perfecting my newest level, Midnight Run. So I was wondering: 1.) How do I make a timed level take less than 5 minutes? 2.) This level has background 207 (the cave one) and the tileset from Unemployed. However, a green tree top strip is appearing on the caves, how can I make this normal? 3.) Hmm, I know there was something else. If I think of it I will post it, don't fret.
Thanks in advance.

Well a Race Start maker, in info(0) says how many seonds it will be timed, so if you want it to be less than 5 minutes, enter a number less than 300 info Race Start Maker's info(0).

If you mean in MASCOT, I don't see one. All I did was create a new level, paste the info for level 1 of the originals into it and then changed the FG Tileset Res ID to 260 and the FG Pattern Res ID to 266.

I will try again, but, actually the strip only appears while playing. Back to MASCOT for me. Thanks again.
Dr Tall would like to swoop to the rescue but it looks like MDWGMalc took care of this incident......
Just a comment, some might belive that the timers may not be longer than 9:59 becuase that's all the display will show but the game will actually keep track of the timer above 9:59 and will jump from 8:59 back to 9:59 repeatedly.
If that doesn't make sense, just remember that you are free to set a timer as long as you want.

Actually, Dr. Tall, I am worried more on how little time to give. Right now I have it at 3 minutes. But I am feeling mean, so I might just lower it to 2 minutes. Now to make a 20 minute level.
I think what you mean about the green strip is the layering type field. Did you try setting it to 2?

Might be something to do with the pxMid, did you try to use one? (Screenshot would be helpful.)

Heeeeeeeey! I'm the one who told you about that with your problem in Double Trouble!

I did fix it. The problem had something to do with basing the world on Unemployed rather than a cave level. I did what MDWGMalc told me to do and it worked. Thanks again.
