Has anyone out ther been able to compile a game for windows, and have it run successfully? I tried several times to no avail. The game screen and music starts but once I log into the game a get an error message "unhandled exception" I compiled it strictly for a windows machine. Yes, I also have the Coldstone upgrade and I am using the Medievil template. It runs OK on the Mac but not on the windows machine.

Don't any of you Mac geniuses have at least one friend that you want to compile a windows version of your game for? Am I the only response to my question. I thought the upgrade was going to fix the problem. What is wrong?
Hmmmm... I could compile a windows coldstone game and run it on XP, I'll try that and get back to you when I get Coldstone set back up again.
I don't know if this helps - but I used to have the same problem (unhandled exception) in Win98 - after the update I have not seen the problem appear. Granted I have never tested it in XP, so this post may be totally pointless.

I have compiled a simple game for windows and have run it on Windows 2000 Pro. No problems so far, but I've probably jynxed myself by saying that.
