I don't know if its just me but when I quit CS and open Internet Explorer 5.1 my 400 imac running 9.1 crashes.

Are u sure youre quitting Coldstone? You might think you are, but are just hiding it. Coldstone is big, and having internet explorer running at the same time could be to much stuff for your mac to handle. next time, check to see if it is closed or just hidden. Hope I helped,Chrios

No it's certianly quit because I would quit such a big app and coldstone works with acrobat (not reader) out at the same which uses much more memory .

Mr. Alex99,
If you don't mind, would you try a few things to maybe isolate the cause?
First, try rebooting your machine and then without opening anything else up start Coldstone. Then quit Coldstone and fire up Internet Explorer. See if it crashes your computer.
If it does, then try to do the same thing only when you reboot your machine disable extensions. Perhaps there is a conflict somewhere.
If that doesn't do the trick, try updating your system software. Apple has a free update to OS9 to make it 9.2.2. To do this though, you will first need to update your OS to 9.2.1 and then update that to 9.2.2, both of which as previously mentioned are free updates. You can get the 9.2.1 update (url="http://"http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120030")here(/url), and the 9.2.2 update can be downloaded (url="http://"http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75186")here(/url).
Also, if you have IE 5.1 then you might want to update your browser software to 5.1.5. You can do so (url="http://"http://www.microsoft.com/mac/DOWNLOAD/IE/ie515.asp")here(/url).
If none of the above work, then I don't know. I've never had a problem under OS 8.6.
Good luck.

I think Stark Bledfast is right.
