Scale Problems

Hi, I have a problem with the scale in CS. When I make the maps, I either make the maps big enough that it would take an hour to walk across or so small that it can only hold one tree. Does anyone know how to make the size maps used commonly in PoG? Also, how would one make their own graphics? Thanks.

The outdoor maps are 256x256 ground tiles across, I think. Either that or 200x200. To make your own graphics, use Photoshop or any other graphic generation tool. Make sure the pictures are 16 bit, 72 dpi, and are saved in either a .pic or .png format.

Consider. If passion rules our reasoning, and we are ruled by logic, we are all simply unwitting slaves to emotion, pretending to be greater than what we truly are.

Wow. Thanks!

Master C is correct outdoor maps in PoG were 200 X 200, and the towns and others were 100x 100
with 32 x 32 movement tiles and 96 X 96 ground tiles

Also, you might want to try out different sizes, to see which ones work the best.

Try making a second game, with the medieval times format, and see how big boberus city/the dragon cave are. Look at the map dimensions, and write them down. I did; but unfortunately when i had to move my desk around, i lost it, otherwise I would tell you now.

If people would take the time to understand and know someone, to appreciate this person, wouldn't we live in a better world?
But if we did, then how would we learn anything? A world without hurt is a world without lessons.
