Character Art

This is the most difficult part for all game-makers, in my opinion (graphics-wise, at least.) Last night I tried to tackle the royal guard. I tried to make him look more like a hunter/mercenary than a knight in shining armor. After about a half hour wasted trying to do that, I settled for making his armor bronze (select the color, and use the overlay effect for the paintbrush- in Photoshop.) After 30 mins I'm almost halfway done the first walk animation! Wow! I'm so excited! Tubular! gasp, choke, dies
Anyways, something has to be done about this. There is NO character art, in my opinion, on the Coldstone CD. The enemy art is also very limited. I need some characater art! I already have about 2 artists working for me on my game, but none of them can handle character art/enemies. I know some character art you hold dear, and aren't willing to put it up on the web-board, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put some on! Also, does anybody want to give my any/ trade with me for art?

I also have a good site for fantasy art: (url="http://"http://www.Elfwood.com")www.Elfwood.com(/url)

OK, now for an idea: how about some people go scouting for artists on Elfwood.com and just upload their art that they give/make for you onto the board. This way we can keep a steady stream of graphics coming. Who's with me?

Until then, please, someone tell me where I can find fantasy character art (or give some to me, if you are kind!)

Thanks again,

Smodis

Seriously though, if you're looking for quick character art that doesn't suck, you're out of luck. There's simply no possible way to make character art that's any good in less than a day—that's why Beenox had several people doing their art.
