Just thought I'd let you guys know about Zbrush. ($300) by (url="http://"http://pixologic.com") Pixologic(/url) You can do a ton of stuff with this. I am taking quite fondly to the modeler, which is very powerful. It's great for making heads. Never seen anything like it. Zscripts are also handy, performing a common task (macro) or showing you step by step how a model was created. They have quite a few with the program already, which demonstrate nicely how to create an alien head.
(My head created with 3 days of experience)
Anyway, unless you have all your graphics covered, download it. Be warned however, the interface is very un-mac-like. It will take a little while to get used to the wierd menu system. But I picked it up relatively quickly. Unforetunately, I don't have the cash to buy it. I'm stuck with the demo until I can make the other half. P.s. If my writing style is off, its cause its late.
