Animation / Motion

In a game one of my family members is making ( 🙂 ), the attack command is replaced with a jump command. Is it possible to move the player a couple of tiles across during the jump, so that they don't just mysteriously appear where they were originally?

We've been discussing just this very thing. (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/postdisplay.cgi?forum=Forum48&topic;=000996")http://www.AmbrosiaS...48&topic=000996(/url) contains much of the discussion. The tool that may make it possible is dicussed in (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/postdisplay.cgi?forum=Forum48&topic;=001026")http://www.AmbrosiaS....8&topic=001026(/url), and is available for download from alois at (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/lorsina")http://homepage.mac.com/lorsina(/url)

The idea is thus; special animation with spline path to move the figure (may need to use the action "Change Player Icon"). Call of action "Map Position," said action modified with the tool above to allow placing the result of an arithmatic operation on the tag values &&PlayerX; and &&PlayerY; (which may include transferring their values to globals first).

All in all, not simple yet. But it looks do-able.
