Is there a way to get into the coding or just change the way stats affect things (ie calculating primary stats, level ups, how much damage you do and how to calculate whether you hit or not)? The way I managed to do this was just to set everything by hand, make my own exp system so the person would never level up in the games original terms, and when the person got enough exp i would calculate his stat raises in my own all using global variables, but it would still be nice to know another way,
Also some things about the access system: is there a way to split a picture into two so you can make on part of it under the char and another part over it? this would mainly be used for a house or a tree where in the front your char would be over it but behind the building or tree, you would be behind it. The only way I can think of would be to make two picture: the trunk and the leaves, or the house and back of it, and make these different layers. Another thing: is there a way to make a picture have default access squares? u could set these before hand and everytime u place the picture preset default access squares would already be set. this would be useful for wilderness scenery with many of the same object.
