------------------ Greetings, all-powerful archmage! Finally, you have done it again, as it should have been so many years ago, the archmage powerful enough to gain possession of the ultimate spell. Armageddon is a powerful and frightening spell, as devastating to yourself as to mankind. You will no longer be eligible to receive protection from the council. From now on, you are on your own. Good luck, and may your powers be with you.

Ahh, very nice. Smooth and easy to use interface, many many options, cool stuff. And although I personally am not a developer, this is a great step for Ambrosia and Beenox. (another step towards the release of NOVA, that is)

This is great.
I only have trouble understanding one thing: why did you put the link to the Coldstone page in the list of your games? It seems like it would be listed under utilities instead.
Just need some clarification

Well...it's a game utillity. It's a utillity for making games, it could be listed under utillities -and- games, but in my oppinion, it fits better under games. ------ Hooray! I've been waiting for the release of Coldstone for a long time now. I'll be ordering my CD as soon as I can!

Thanks for making such a great "utility" (although it's so fun it's really a game) Dee! You're the best! You released it just in time for my birthday Saturday! I know one thing I better be getting!
------------------ Macs Rule! ----------------- Dee is my Hero!
Sure, why not, I'll list it under "utilities" too -- fact is, it doesn't fit well in any category.
Yesterday was my birthday, but i got $55 bucks in cash, at least, so my parents can wirte a check or whatever, but YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOO And any other joyous, joyful, things which are full of joy (/mad dance of happiness)

Am I wrong in thinking this is a pretty unique product? I'm not sure of anything quite like Coldstone for Windows.....and the closest products I can think of are really really old games such as something like those old games for making little adventure games, like WorldBuilder.
I think this is really a pretty monumental produt release.....could do for game development what HyperCard did for consumer developed applications, in a way.
I just think it's incredibly cool, I think that game development in general has gotten kind of stagnant....lots of FPS's, lots of games that are technologically interesting, but only a handful of really interesting stories.
Now we'll have all sorts of people who aren't traditionally game developers unleashing their own ideas on the world. I'm sure there will be some bad games, but more importantly is that now everyone who ever said "man, I wish there was a game where you could do this" now has a way to realize that. Just incredibly exciting.
-Elektrix
------------------
Ah, Electrix, you are somewhat... mistaken. There are products for the PC with which an aspiring RPG maker can create his or her vision other than WorldBuilder. As in, at least three. It'd be more accurate to say this product is unique as far as the Macintosh goes. I, at least, know of no other Game makers like this one for this platform.

I was under the impression that this was going to be a mac/win releace. Was I mistaken? If so, oh well. Its my friends that will be missing out. As soon as I figure out how to use it, it will be time to register.
