Due to the current absence of a good tutorial, I've taken it upon myself to make one. I'm starting to grasp this program, and I've got access to the best programs for making a tutorial.
I'm assembling some crummy graphics, PoG sounds, and other stuff, and making a game from scratch with them. I'm going to screen shot and massage everything I do, explain how I did everything, put it all together in InDesign 1.5, and upload a PDF tutorial which not only walks someone through step by step, but I'll include all of the files needed.
If anyone would like to help me with this, email Madmanjeff@hotmail.com. Hints, sprites, ancient RPG wisdom, and tips on complicated functions would be greatly appreciated.
------------------ YOUR BASES ARE MINE !!
I will include game sprites, sounds, etc. ready for assembly, and instructions on how to make a complete and unique game out of them; out of scratch. If anyone has some information and would like to save me some time (and speed up production big time), please don't hesitate to send me an email.

Hrm -- the plugin tutorial and tutorials in the documentation were not helpful to you?

Not the stuff that was included with the demo download.
For instance, how do I add a bridge over the creek in Fantrima? I tried to add an event that would modify the map but both the Classic and X versions quit with some error implying that there was a missing object. (NilObjectException)
This seems an odd way of modifying the map.

Another thing, is it possible to change then number of stats, or their effects. If so, how?
one of my most major goals is to alter the magic system. If I can't do that, I'm gonna be really disapointed all of Simon Eastman's major projects revolved entirely around a magic system.

Well, they got me started, but they were next to nothing in terms of development. I'm already designing something from scratch, learning it as I go along, consulting the manual as I find problems.
If you don't have plans for a full development tutorial, could you please throw me a few tips on editing the interface and magic system?
I think a massive tutorial is a good plan, and one that the moderators have considered. Perhaps everyone could contribute...
