How many layers does coldstone support on top of each other. For instance, if you wanted to create a village made up of platforms around tree trunks (like Kelethin from Everquest), would that be possible?

All Coldstone games can only produce 2D movement -- you could easily make it look like you are in a village that has platforms around tree trunks, though.

It gives the illusion of moving up and down by the way they make the graphics and set up the access on any given map.
Do you mean you could explore the city in the trees, and go beneath them too? All in the same zone, so it could fade or something when you're below? Is that what you're asking? -Oh and Kelethin was beautiful when I played the game

yeah, mostly. I could have different maps (one showing ground, one showing first level on top of ground, so on) and have it switch between them with out loading or anything. also, Kelethin is my favorite city, im a wood elf.

No, but I've already thought of a way to fake it. Whee, who wants to re-create the vision of Lothlorien from the LOTR film?

That would be coolŃonce everyone can watch the movie without having to pay through the nose for it.

how could you fake it?
