How would this be done? That seems weird to me. Explain please, has a beta tester ever been able to create anything resembling a particle system. I'd like to be able to make it rain a lot in my game.

There are no tools for creating particles, to use rain you'd have to have a layer on top of everything with an animation of rain falling. The animation would have to be pre-rendered outside of Coldstone.

Well, you could most likely create something like this using some tricks in photoshop....making, say, a 7 frame animation of the snow or rain, then lowering the opacity of that, and just looping that animation on a layer above the gameplay layer..if that's possible? (and if that even makes sense, I tend to not make sense at this point in the day)
