I've read the FAQ, which says there isn't a PC version of the editing tools, yet the screenshots page clearly shows it running under Windows. Conflicting Info has me confused...Inquiring minds would like to know what the deal is.
I'm no M$ purist or anything, but frankly i've never had the income to buy Apple products. I believe a Windows version of the tools would GREATLY extend the life of the game, as you'd have double the number of people able to create content for this great game.

Coldstone will be initially released for Macintosh only but will compile stand-alone games in a single click for MacOS8/9, MacOSX, and Win95/98/ME/2000/XP (multiple platform compiler is included in B5).

The FAQ is, unfortunately, old and outdated. There will, probably, be a windowz version available. Although it wouldn't surprise me if the macintosh version came out first.

There are plenty of people like you. Apple products are more expensive than PC's. (Power comes at a price.) I personally believe that making a product for one platform is only limiting the number of customers.
