Well, you see, there are probably several thousand(or at least hundreds) of ideas for each person that they want to make. Perhaps if we listed only the games we are realistically likely to try to make?
As for me, my main idea depends completely on the release of Coldstone and I cannot share it until I have an idea of what exactly CS can do because until then, my game idea will go no further then a few custom-made sprites, and a graphic style in my mind.

Hi. I'm going to make a big game where Bill Gates takes over the world and it's up to you, the geek, to destroy Gates and save the world. Along the way Steve Jobs, Linus Torvalds, and Tux, the Linux penguin will join you, and depending on how the Coldstone engine actually works, I would like to have them fight alongside you being controlled by the computer. Obviously it is going to be a very humorous game with lots of MiΛro$oft/WinDOS/Bill 666 Gates bashing.

thats basicaly my game. Ive got a lot of the plot and such writen out. But still have a LOT of work to do. Seince the whole game is based in Mindle, the city is gona be HUGE (upwards of several hundred undividual homes you can enter) Every building is gona be enterable. Literaly hundreds of unique people and hundreds more randomly generated street walkers.
this is all very optimistic of course.

I'm be getting an iMac sometime in the next 12 months. I figure that by that time Coldstone will be free of a lot of version 1.0 bugs, and may even have some cool new features not released in the original release. And even if it takes another year for CS to release...
It doesn't bother me any more then the fact that I can't try out PoG yet either.
But hey, if anyone wants to donate a few bucks to help me get a new computer ( ), I'm not going to object.

4218, Terra and luna are gone, the Terraformed Mars is all that is left. With a smaller world comes greater tensions. After the great exodus, two powers are rageing war to control all that is left. Mars, Deimos, and Phobos, on the planets named for the god of war with his two sons, there is no better a place to finish mankinds last great battle.
The style is somewhat like a overhead marathon game may be preaty funny with the 32x32 sprites planed. but with the small sprites makes a giant world easier to make, or so I think. I have quite a bit of the story figured out with loops and twists, but things will make more sence when I get coldstone in my hands.

Well, I was thinking of dabbling in a fantasy style game, but basing the story on history, so as to make it more interesting. Of course, due to my very poor graphics skills, I'd probably have to collaborate with artists, and of course musicians......
Anyway, have a read of a prologue to my story (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum49/HTML/000006.html")here(/url). I think it's a reasonable read, and if I end up getting the rest of it posted, I might make the topic of my game a sequel to this story.... who knows

First: Sinberal's Dragons. Plot, You are the leader of a tribe of red dragons who has been raging war for eons.. When you father the c Dragonlord dies you have to take his place and win the war for once and for all.
2: Warth of Reldred. Plot, Top secert. This will be Inferno Studios pride..
3. Shi. Plot, You are a Japanese worrior.. You misson?? To defend the empire, and save the emporer.
4. Forest of Veitnam. Plot, You are a part of a demining squad and are fisrt on the field of battle.

I'd like to do a Jules Verne-esque naval combat game-- "Dreadnaughts of the Southern Seas."
I'm envisioning a simple, yet visually engaging game- scoot around on an ocean map, adding bizarre weaponry to your ship at different ports of call (Fire the Infernal Torpedoe!), with maybe a "capture the flag" type resolution for each map.
I presume Coldstone will be single player only...?

I was thinking of makeing more of a fantasy game. The classic sword-swinging, go from one town to another, heal at the inn etc. But I also want to add some humor into the gameplay and have a good plot and storyline. Not a "save the world" type of thing, but still pretty close to that. It will probably based on a younger to mid teen audience.
