I found one set at this site while prowling the ftp site. (url="http://"http://ftp.ambrosiasw.com/pub/coldstone/graphics")http://ftp.ambrosias...dstone/graphics(/url)
Oops, make that ftp://ftp.ambrosiasw.com/pub/coldstone/gr...cterSprites.sit Heh. Stupid not being registered...
Um, just wanted to ask if anyone can help me with making terrain graphics to match the character graphics' style of the pics I found (url="http://"ftp://ftp.ambrosiasw.com/pub/coldstone/graphics")here(/url)? I am going to be making my game with that graphic style, but I need terrain to go with the character pics, and as I'm far better at pixel manipulation then creating pictures(ie, I'm limited to about stick figures that look round). If I can get the terrain, I'll be set for a game.
Anyone interested, e-mail me at (url="http://"http://mailto:mouse_asw@yahoo.com")mouse_asw@yhoo.com(/url).

Thanks, Chill! I'd lost that link, and I'd been looking for it. A handy reference for those doing "old-school" graphics...

Indeed, that's a well-written tutorial for all those who either want that "old skool RPG" feel or don't want to spend the time/money learning/making 3D models.
Note that the ability to draw is still required. If you're deficient in this category, I'd recommend taking a class... anyone can learn to draw if they put their mind to it.

I'm sorry straytoaster, you can't bring 3D models into Coldstone. Coldstone uses 2D. You can, however, render 3D models and import them into Coldstone. (Unless there is something i don't know.)
