i was wondering if Coldstone supports resoltions higher than 640x480. This would sort of make up for no 3d acceleration.

I'm almost POSITIVELY certain that I read that this would be possible. But then again I see things sometimes. shrugs

You can make the game pretty much any resolution you want. As to how fast it will run, I have no idea.

Grain of Salt:
you can't make it go to a 935 x 1235 resolution for example, you'll need to stick to the standard resolutions...
if Gluebubble's comment has merit, which technically, no one except those with the very latest coldstone (Beenox/ASW) really know.

Well that was obvious
Check the POTD. It shows the ability to input the resolution.

Excuse me, but don't you think that's rude? Because I sure do. He takes time to answer your question as fully as possible, and you respond in this way? Great example, man. Politeness and civility will be enforced on this board.
Hey, I actually got a good laugh out of that response.
And, believe it or not, when I was freelancing I had a client who wanted his powerpoint presentation to run fullscreen at 715 x 561, for "numerological" reasons. I'd rather not relive my explanation as to why that wouldn't be possible, but eventually I convinced him that 800 x 600 was going to have to cut it.
Sigh. Why I quit freelancing: People hire you for your expertise and then tell you you're wrong.
If you had a monitor large enough (i.e., freakin' huge), couldn't it run in a window that size? Certainly can't do full-screen at a nonstandard resolution, but is there any technical reason why the game window couldn't be whatever dimensions you want?
...Hmm, another thing to check out when the next beta is released.

I don't see why not, but then I personally doubt there will be support for such things.
Sorry, Gluebubble. I was in a bit of a sarcastic mood when I posted that.

...and thank you for replying this way, rather than being angry or something. Respect meter for you is way up.
